• Lawsons celebrate anniversary


    Chester and Laura Lawson recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Nov. 16 with family and friends.

    The Lawsons have three children and their spouses, J.C. and Peggy Lawson, Wanda and Eugene Gray and Marsha and Billy Estes.

    They also have five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Five generations of the Clarke family recently gathered for a family photo.

    They are father Corey Clarke, grandfather Joe Clarke, great-great-grandmother Cymbeline Shoffner holding Corey's daughter Carstyn Jenner Clarke, and great-grandmother Judy Clarke.

    Carstyn, born Dec. 11, 2013, is the daughter of Corey and Courtney Clarke.

    Junior and Mildred Moore of Campbellsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 22.

    The Moores have five children, Greg Moore, Scotty Moore and Pam Bradley of Campbellsville, Tammy Paxton of Greensburg and Mark Moore of Lexington.

    Jill Hamrick and Nicholas Rhodes of Lexington announce their engagement.

    Hamrick is the daughter of Kevin Hamrick and Janet Hamrick of Des Moines and Norwalk, Iowa.

    Rhodes is the son of Dean and Sherri Rhodes of Campbellsville.

    The ceremony will be Saturday, March 1, in Lexington.
