  • Hedgespeth

    Charles T. and Mina Hedgespeth of Campbellsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 1.

    The couple were married on June 1, 1958, at South Campbellsville Baptist Church.

    A reception will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Corinth Baptist Church, located on the Campbellsville/Hodgenville Road.

    All family and friends are invited to attend. They request no gifts.

  • Spoon-Mattingly

    Kelly Simpson Spoon and Joseph Eric Mattingly will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 7.

    Spoon is the daughter of Kay and Richard Kazsuk of Russell Springs and Tommy and Charlotte Simpson of Knoxville, Tenn.

    She is a 1992 graduate of Taylor County High School and a 1998 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology with secondary education. Spoon completed her master of arts in special education at Campbellsville University in 2005. She is employed by the Taylor County Board of Education.

  • Wise-Jones

    Hannah Sue Wise of Elk Horn and Weston Drew Jones of Campbellsville will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 7.

    Wise is the daughter of Tommy Bland of Campbellsville and Carla Milsap of Elk Horn. Her grandparents are Wanda Carroll and the late Carson Carroll and Hurshel and Louise Bland.

    She is a 2008 graduate of Campbellsville University.

    Jones is the son of Mitchell Jones and Karen Jones, both of Campbellsville. His grandparents are Rufus and Doris Hansford of Campbellsville and the late Rex Jones and James and Maggie Bell.

  • Russell-Gay

    Debbie and Charles Russell of Mackville announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Russell, to Travis Gay, son of Jeanne and Bill Gay of Floyds Knobs, Ind.

    Russell is a 2002 graduate of Washington County High School and is a graduate of Campbellsville University. She is employed at Mercer County Elementary School in Harrodsburg.

    Gay is a 2000 graduate of Floyd Central High School and a graduate of Campbellsville University. He is employed at Anderson County Schools in Lawrenceburg.

  • Burton-Skaggs

    Christina Mae "Chrissy" Burton and Richard Andrew "Drew" Skaggs, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 7.

    Burton is the daughter of Nancy Arnett of Campbellsville and Jerry and Stacy Arnett of Greensburg. Her grandparents are Frank and Dorothy Arnett of Campbellsville and the late Ida Mae Glover.

    She is a graduate of State Beauty College and is a stylist at Salon 121 in Campbellsville.

  • Caulk-Graves

    Mr. and Mrs. Robert Douglas Caulk of Campbellsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Douglas Caulk, to David Rhode Graves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rhode Graves of Lexington.

    Caulk is the granddaughter of Robert and Lorene Caulk of Campbellsville, Clare Ann Droba of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and the late Joseph Stanley Droba.

    She is a graduate of Campbellsville High School and the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Caulk is employed as an advertising Director at CRM Companies in Lexington.

  • Spalding celebrates third birthday

    Aubrey Kathryn Spalding celebrated her third birthday on May 7. She is the daughter of Karyn and Stacy Spalding of Springfield. Her grandparents are Doris and Tommy Spalding of Springfield and Janet and Lester Caulk of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Campbellsville.

  • Smith-Milby

    Doug and Rhonda Smith of Greensburg along with Gary and Linda Milby of Gabe and Robert and Kathy Cockrum of Owensboro announce the engagement of their children, Jetona Kaye Smith and Garrett Wesley Milby.

    Smith is the granddaughter of Herman and Joyce Smith of Black Gnat, Howard Judd of Greensburg and the late Mary Louise Judd.
