  • Armstrong-McVay

    Lauren Mykenzi Armstrong and Thomas Nelson McVay II, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Sept. 27.

    Armstrong is the daughter of Cindy Armstrong of Campbellsville and the late Jim Armstrong.

    She is a 2007 graduate of Green County High School and is a currently a student at Lindsey Institute of Cosmetology in Campbellsville. She is employed at Lee's Famous Recipe.

    McVay is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy McVay of Campbellsville.

    He is a 2001 graduate of Taylor County High School and is employed at Tractor Supply Co. in Campbellsville.

  • Campbellsville native sings with Soldiers' Chorus

    Charis Humphress Strange of Fort Meade, Md., formerly of Campbellsville, is a member of the Soldiers' Chorus, a vocal complement of the United States Army Field Band of Washington, D.C.

    The daughter of Don and Charlotte Humphress of Campbellsville, she is married to Jim Strange, the son of Gary and Diane Strange, also of Campbellsville.

  • Sizemore honored with baby shower

    Rochelle and Fred Sizemore Jr. of Danville were honored with a baby shower on Aug. 2 at the Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue building. About 40 people attended. Pictured are, from left, Cindy Williams, aunt and hostess; Rena Duplantis, cousin and hostess; Rochelle Sizemore and Margaret Carney, aunt and hostess. The Sizemores are expecting their first child, a daughter on Sept. 10. Grandparents are Kay and Eddie Krug of Knifley and Lanita and Fred Sizemore Sr. of Hazard.

    Jaci Brena Rogers is the 1-month-old daughter of Robbie and Jennifer Rogers of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Vince and Betty Rogers and Brenda Wright, all of Campbellsville, and the late Tommy Brady.

  • CHS Class of 1958 gathers for reunion

    Campbellsville High School Class of 1958 celebrated its 50-year reunion at the Community Center on July 5. Those attending were, from left, front: James A.   • Three couples graduate of TRH prenatal class

    Three couples graduated from the prenatal and childbirth classes taught at Taylor Regional Hospital in August 2008. The five-week series is taught by Jenny Dobson, RN, CLC, CCE.   • Black celebrates second birthday

    Grace Nevaeh Black turned 2 years old on Aug. 31. She is the daughter of Brian and Marsha Black of Campbellsville, and has two brothers, Chris and Shawn. Her grandparents are Jerry and Phyllis Black and Mike and Sharon White, all of Campbellsville.
