  • Black celebrates second birthday

    Grace Nevaeh Black turned 2 years old on Aug. 31. She is the daughter of Brian and Marsha Black of Campbellsville, and has two brothers, Chris and Shawn. Her grandparents are Jerry and Phyllis Black and Mike and Sharon White, all of Campbellsville.

    Raquel Williams, back center, recently celebrated her 12th birthday with friends at the City Pool. She is the daughter of Milt and Carla Williams of Campbellsville.

  • Birth Announcements

    Madelyn Mascarenas and James R. Tungate of Campbellsville announce the birth of a son, Caysen Blade Tungate, at 4:37 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

    Grandparents are John and Carmelita Mascarenas, Elizabeth Tungate and David Harris, all of Campbellsville.

    Great-grandparents are Wanda Faye and James H. Tungate and Norman Johnson, all of Campbellsville, and the late Margaret Johnson and David and Anita Mascarenas.

  • Wright-Newcomb

    Mary L. Wright and Mike Newcomb, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Sept. 27.

    Wright is the daughter of Thomas and Katchie Lynch of Elizabethtown and the late Clyde H. Miller Jr.

    She is employed as a preschool assistant at Taylor County Elementary School.

    Newcomb is the son of David W. Newcomb of Campbellsville and the late Anna Kathryn Newcomb.

    He is employed at Chandler's Office Supply in Campbellsville.

  • Hazelwood-Weathers

    Kendra Danielle Mignon Hazelwood and Curtis Andrew Weathers Jr. will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Sept. 27.

    Hazelwood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rowe of Campbellsville and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Taylor of Fayetteville, N.C.

    She is employed at the Disability Determination Office in Frankfort.

    Weathers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Andrew Weathers Sr. of Lexington.

    He is employed at the Centria Co. in Frankfort.

    The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Capitol Plaza Hotel in Frankfort. Invitations have been sent.

  • Claycomb

    William Conrad and Dorothy Lee Claycomb will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday with their children.

    The Claycombs were married on Sept. 17, 1943, by Bro. Olaf Anderson in Lebanon at the manse of the Presbyterian church.

    Mr. Claycomb is retired from T.G.T. after 38 years of work, and Mrs. Claycomb is retired from Fruit of the Loom after 26 years.

  • Gardner-Wilson

    Cassandra Lauren Gardner and Corey Wilson, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Friday, Oct. 3.

    Gardner is the daughter of Daryl and Anita Gardner of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Elbert and Ethel Gardner and Patricia Brown, all of Louisville, and the late Harold Brown.

    Wilson is the son of Annette Givens and Bill Wilson, both of Campbellsville. His grandparents are Marvin and Myrna Martin of Campbellsville and William Wilson of Visalia, Calif.

    Both are students at Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia.

  • Cook-Sharp

    LeeAnn Danielle Cook and Randall Todd Sharp, both of Campbellsville, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Sept. 20.

    Cook is the daughter of Garry and Deloris Elmore of Greensburg. Her grandparents are Eulean Vaughn of Green County and the late Robert Vaughn and Dan and Lona Perkins.

    She is a 2000 graduate of Green County High School. Cook is employed at Frost Arnett in Campbellsville.

    Sharp is the son of Randall and Sharon Sharp of Campbellsville. His grandparents are Betty Sharp of Campbellsville, the late Raymond "Peanut" Sharp and Rosie and Harold Milby.
