    Rudolph and Dorothy Houk will celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

    Charles M. Jones, 83 of Snow Lane in Campbellsville died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, in Campbellsville.

    James R. Bell, 83 of Reids Chapel Road in Campbellsville died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 in Glasgow. He served on city council from 1962 until 1982.

    Pastor Paul W. Patton will retire as senior pastor of the Campbellsville Christian Church Dec. 30.

    James and Juanita Shofner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 16.

    Campbellsville High School concert band will present its annual Christmas concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Hamilton auditorium.

    The Campbellsville Women's Club is getting ready for its annual Christmas Home Tour.

    Ryan Tungate celebrated his ninth birthday with a pool party at Super 8 Motel.

    Campbellsville High School Class of 1951 hosted its 50 year reunion on Sept. 1 at Creek Side Restaurant.

    Kentucky Christian School students celebrated Pastor Appreciation Month on Oct. 23 by inviting their pastors to school for a reception.

    More than 600 people last year received a warm, decent coat thanks to the efforts of Randy Watson at Best Financial and several other businesses. Watson again this year is heading a drive to collect good, used coats.

    Lora Carroll, 91, of North Central Avenue in Campbellsville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in Campbellsville.

    Joseph Rodford White, 86, of Hovious Ridge Road in Columbia, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, in Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville after an illness.

    Jimmie and Teresa Spurling of Campbellsville are honored as 20-year members of the Campbellsville University President's Club.

    Price Grocery won a four-day cruise to the Bahamas through a promotion conducted by Greensburg Bottling Co. and Double Cola USA and in conjunction with caffeine free Ski.

    Mac Ronald Sullivan, 59, of Wise Road in Campbellsville died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville after an illness.
    Hattie Lee Brown and B.J. Brown Jr., both of Campbellsville, are the newest members of the Tom Joyner Foundation Black College Endowment Patrons Fund.
    Kaleb Compton, a fifth-grader at Campbellsville Middle School, was honored for his bravery during a fire at his home in January.

    The new Movie Gallery location at 340 Campbellsville Bypass will make its debut on Friday, Oct. 19, with Chris McMillan premiering as the new store manager backed by a cast of associates and directed by district manager, Cindy Akemon.

    The Rev. Bluford Davis, 70, of Country View Drive in Campbellsville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, at Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville after an illness.
