Charles Britton looks over his old office. Except for a few stacks of boxed files, the office the Taylor County Health Department Manager occupied for more than three decades is empty.

"I went in there yesterday," Britton said Thursday, standing in the midst of more boxes at the health department's new location off Campbellsville Bypass. "It seemed kind of sad. I've been there for 34 years."
