A Greensburg woman avoided facing a jury by pleading guilty to sodomy and sex abuse charges the day before her trial was set to begin.
Reba Regina Cox, 32, of 1495 Bluffboom Road appeared before Taylor Circuit Court Judge Doughlas M. George on Tuesday. She pleaded guilty to second-degree sodomy and six counts of first-degree sex abuse.
Court records state the prosecutor in the case, Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Shelly Miller, has recommended that Cox be sentenced to eight years in prison to be served at the same time as a sentence she is currently serving.
