Lexington Catholic played without all-state quarterback Kyle Bolin (out with a torn ACL), but the Knights had three touchdowns in the first 10 minutes to roll past the home-standing Taylor County Cardinals 56-14 on Friday night.
Sophomore signal-caller Reese Ryan used a pair of passes to junior David Bouvier and senior Casey Nash to set up junior Marcelis Logan’s 18-yard score.
Ryan then connected with Bouvier for a 13-yard tally before finding Amoh Kumengisa for a 17-yard TD with 1:51 still left in the opening quarter.
