Sophomore Caleb Wigginton scored only five points in the first quarter but followed it up with a 12-point second frame and a 10-point third period en route to a 35-point night in Taylor County’s 72-54 road triumph at Washington County on Tuesday.
The Cardinals fought back several times to maintain their double-digit advantage, sparked by Commander junior Alex Marshall’s 21-point showing.
