Waste Connections Inc. recently donated 20 bicycles to Taylor Fiscal Court, which then donated the bicycles to children in Taylor County through the Holiday Helpline.

According to Taylor County Judge/Executive Eddie Rogers, Waste Connections donated the bicycles to each county in which it provides garbage pickup service.

Four of the 20 bicycles went to children being sponsored through the Angel Tree program by Taylor Circuit Clerk Rodney Burress' office. Two other bicycles went to Campbellsville Elementary School's good behavior program in which students receive coupons when they behave well to be entered into a drawing for the bicycles.

Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire Department employees and other volunteers will deliver the bicycles.
