Jamie Glenn Walker and Brent Michael Vernon, both of Williamsburg, will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, April 12.
Walker is the daughter of Roy and Nancy Walker of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Mildred Walker of Campbellsville and the late Glen "Brother" Walker, Ruth Walker and Russell and Eva Haydon.
She is a 1999 graduate of Taylor County High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology. She is also a 2007 graduate of Campbellsville University, where she earned her master's in business administration.
Walker is employed as a medical staff/CME specialist at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Vernon is the son of Randy and Lindsay Vernon of Williamsburg. His grandparents are Peggy Vernon of Louisville and the late Densil Vernon and Wallace and Constance Hawkins.
He is a 2000 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, where he earned a bachelor's degree in education. He is also a 2008 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, earning his master's in education.
Vernon is employed as the assistant coach for the men's basketball team at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg.
A private wedding ceremony for family will take place in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Receptions, in which all family and friends are invited to attend, are planned for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at the Williamsburg Tourism Center in Williamsburg, and at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Campbellsville Community Center in Campbellsville.
