Vandals paint Miller Park with racial slur

Police seeking leads as investigation continues

The Campbellsville Police Department is investigating a vandalism incident at Miller Park.

Multiple images on social media depict a racial slur that was spray painted on the back of at least one dugout at a baseball field at the park.

According to a release from the Campbellsville Police Department, they are looking into the situation and asking for the public’s assistance with the incident.

According to the release, the Campbellsville Police Department took a criminal mischief complaint at Miller Park on Tuesday, in which an unknown person(s) spray-painted on multiple buildings.

“The Campbellsville Police Department would like to let the unknown person(s) know that this kind of activity will not be tolerated and we will be conducting an extensive investigation in regards to this matter,” the release states.

The Campbellsville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in this matter. Anyone with information regarding this vandalism incident is urged to contact the Campbellsville Police Department.
