Katilyn Bryant is the only senior on the 2013-14 Campbellsville High School cheerleading squad and her two-year tenure cheering at games will end when the Lady Eagle and Eagle basketball teams are eliminated in post-season play.
Bryant, who was also Football Homecoming Queen in November and plans to attend Elizabethtown Tech upon graduation, says she enjoys most “cheering at games while the band plays and doing lifts.
“I try to do as much work as I can at school and just try my hardest,” Bryant said on how she juggles her cheerleading practice and games around her academic load and gymnastics.
“I like to watch scary movies with my family,” Bryant said of her time away from school. She acknowledged English is her favorite subject and Andrea Lawler is her favorite teacher.
“I love our school spirit,” Bryant said about what she liked most about CHS and that one of her favorite moments in cheerleading was “beating Taylor County in basketball last year.”
