Two injured in Christmas day collision

Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Meader and Coakley streets on Christmas day.

According to a Campbellsville Police report, Connie Houk, 56, of Campbellsville was crossing Meader Street in a 1999 Plymouth van when she pulled into the path of a 1996 Volkswagen, driven by Danielle Jeffries, 24, of Greensburg. The collision occurred at 2:18 p.m.

Jeffries and a passenger in Houk's vehicle, Nora Shuffett of Campbellsville, were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue for minor injuries. Their condition was not available as of press time.

Campbellsville Police Officer Ben Riggs investigated.
