A severe thunderstorm Tuesday night caused damage throughout Taylor County.
According to a press release from Ronnie Dooley, Taylor County Emergency Management's public information coordinator, severe thunderstorms with destructive winds moved through Taylor County at about 9 p.m., causing widespread wind damage.
Wind gusts of nearly 70 mph were clocked during the night with weather instruments at the Campbellsville E-911 center, Dooley's report states.
