Ashley Brooke Tucker and David Matthew Green, both of Brentwood, Tenn., exchanged wedding vows on Sunday, Sept. 16 at Daufuskie Island Resort in South Carolina.

Dr. Clarence Edmondson performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Debbie Miller and Ivan and Carol Tucker, all of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Lucy Tucker of Campbellsville and the late Ivan Tucker and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Furkin.

The groom is the son of Richard and Karen Green of Johnson City, Tenn. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe M. Carden Jr. of LaFollette, Tenn., Leah Green of Trinity, N.C., and the late Joe Green.

Accompanied by her father, the bride arrived in a horse-drawn carriage to music provided by a string trio. She was escorted to a beachside gazebo, decorated with Casablanca lilies, calla lilies, hydrangeas, lisianthus and roses.

Vocalist Kim Heaton, accompanied by the trio, sang "Lost in This Moment."

The bride wore an Amsale ivory silk taffeta ball gown featuring a gathered halter and plunging V-neckline descending to a ruche cummerbund with a beaded applique. The bustled skirt extended to a chapel-length train. Her fingertip length veil was attached to a Vera Wang tiara. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and white mini calla lilies tied with ivory satin ribbon and pearl pins.

Casey Caulk and Misty Thompson, both of Lexington, served as maids of honor. They wore soft turquoise strapless tea-length gowns and carried ivory roses and white hydrangeas.

Bridesmaids were Katie Cox Elzy of Sherman Oaks, Calif., McCall Reynolds Nelson of Campbellsville, Jane Ashley Pace and Beth Hammond, both of Lexington, and Jenita Smith of Nashville, Tenn.

Junior bridesmaid was Anna Snodgrass of Nashville.

Their attire and flowers were identical to the maids of honors'.

Lucy Green, the groom's niece, served as the flower girl.

Richard Green served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Green, Michael Calabrese, Alex Ness and Brock Smith, all of Nashville, Chris Flair and Josh Young, both of Atlanta, Ga., Brett Kyle of Memphis, Tenn., Mark Lemoncelli of Knoxville, Tenn., Steve Boynton of Charlotte, N.C., and Brad Breeding of Raleigh, N.C.

Davis Nelson, the bride's cousin, served as the ring bearer.

Sarah Januski and Megan Januski of Campbellsville, the bride's nieces, were the program attendants.

Following the ceremony, an outdoor cocktail party took place on the veranda overlooking the ocean. A formal dinner and dance followed at the Melrose Inn. The bride's father, accompanied by the band, sang "She's Everything" as the couple enjoyed their first dance.

They honeymooned in St. John and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and are making their home in Brentwood.
