Taylor Regional Hospital will host a Cooper Clayton Stop Smoking Class in the summer and fall.
The classes are free and will begin Thursday, July 17 at 4:30 p.m. Each class will last about an hour. The courses will extend more than 12 weeks.
The Cooper Clayton Method to Become a Non-Smoker is an effective smoking cessation method that addresses all aspects of smoking.
The method uses nicotine gum or nicotine patches and provides 12 intensive education sessions followed by weekly support group meetings focusing on relapse prevention.
