Campbellsville University fought back from a 15-point half-time deficit but could get no closer than three in the second half and dropped an 87-76 Mid-South Conference home game to Pikeville College on Thursday.
After the Bears (14-3 overall and 3-2 in the MSC), led 44-29 at the intermission, coach Keith Adkins’ Tigers (9-6, 3-2) out-scored the visitors 18-8 to trail by only five (52-47) with 16 minutes to play.
