Campbellsville scored the first eight points of the second half and that was enough to propel the Lady Tigers to a sloppily-played 77-60 win on Feb. 4 at West Virginia Tech.
Leading by eight with 11:30 to go in the game, Campbellsville pounded the offensive glass and worked to a 64-48 margin with four minutes to go. Caroline Owen drained a three-pointer to give the Lady Tigers that lead. That lead increased to 17 when Lindy Young hit two free tosses with 1:32 remaining.
