A three-car collision Wednesday afternoon on KY 210 sent two Campbellsville residents to the hospital.

According to a news release from the Campbellsville Police Department,

Sean A. Wilkerson, 16, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville east on KY 210 near Salem Church Road at 5 p.m. when he passed a 2005 Toyota Tercel being driven by Diane H. Rose, 54, of Campbellsville, who was also traveling east.

The Wilkerson vehicle, in overtaking the Rose vehicle, collided head-on with a 2001 Ford Focus being driven in the opposite direction by Angela Webster, 19, of Campbellsville.

Wilkerson's vehicle then struck the Rose vehicle, which left the roadway, according to the report.

Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue transported Webster and Wilkerson to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment, the report states.

Campbellsville Fire Department, Air Evac Lifeteam, Campbellsville Police Department and Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement also responded to the accident.

Campbellsville Police Officer Justin Phillips investigated.
