A Campbellsville teenager was injured Tuesday in a one-vehicle crash on west U.S. 68.
According to a Campbellsville Police news release, officers investigated the collision at about 6:30 a.m.
The report states that Derek D. Taylor, 19, was driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy east on U.S. 68 when he lost control, traveled off the roadway and overturned several times before coming to rest on the roadway.
Taylor was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report, and was ejected from the vehicle.
Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS personnel transported Taylor to Taylor Regional Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He is listed in stable condition.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision, the report states, and the incident remains under investigation.
