Taylor County Middle School began its season with a 44-0 romp past Southwest Nelson in the LaRue County Bowl Bash on Aug. 4.
The Cardinals led 36-0 at the half and the continuous clock was used in the last two quarters. Johnathon Sprowles and Ezra Oliver had two touchdowns apiece for Taylor County while Collin Watson and Lake Burress also tallied touchdowns. Burress also had two two-point conversions and Oliver and Roy Wooley had one apiece.
