TCHS boys roll by Commanders 67-37

Taylor County canned 10 three-pointers and demolished visiting Washington County 67-37 on Tuesday night.

The Cardinals led only 9-8 before tallying the game's next 16 points and the rout was on.

Chase Cox hit four treys while fellow senior back-court starting mate Michael Coulter and reserve guard Tyler Moss had three apiece.

Cox finished with 24 points while Lloyd Stotts added 10 and Coulter, Moss and senior Shane Morris had nine apiece for coach Troy Young's outfit.

Lee Mudd (13) was the lone double-digit scorer for the Commanders.

The Cardinals host LaRue County on Friday (6:00) in a boy/girl doubleheader and will also entertain Christian County on Saturday (2:00 for the junior varsity game) and Green County on Monday (JV tilt starts at 6:30).
