Taylor woman's lost wallet returned

Michael Pierce was running late for work on the morning of April 7. He pulled up at the Country Store on KY 70 West, hopped out and saw something lying on the pavement. Reaching down, he picked up a billfold and tossed it into his truck, then went on into the store.

Since he was in a hurry, Pierce said he didn't think much about the billfold until later in the day. When he finally did inspect it, he got a shock.

"There was a lot of cash in it. I didn't know what to think," Pierce said.
