Taylor County won the battle of long runs with a decisive 12-1 finish to down home-standing Marion County 63-47 on Friday night.
The Cardinals (13-7) took the lead for good at 20-11 on an 11-0 run ending the first quarter and starting the second period.
Chase Cox's three-pointer started the rally with Shane Morris hitting two free throws, Lloyd Stotts one charity toss, Leonard Macon a lay-up and Josh Gumm a trey during the blitz.
