Taylor County Schools may have ended the fiscal year in better shape than most, but that's no reason to relax, Superintendent Roger Cook told Board members at last Monday's regular meeting.
The District ended the 2008-2009 fiscal year with $750,000 - a 4 percent carryover. And while that is double what the state requires, Cook said the District still needs to be frugal.
