Taylor County High School deals with student threats

A Taylor County High School freshman has been removed from school and police are investigating after the student made written threats to harm herself and other students on Tuesday.

“There was a student that made some threats and to do some bodily harm,” Taylor County Superintendent Roger Cook said.

“We took that threat seriously, we turned it over to law enforcement, they did some investigation.

That student has been removed from the school setting and is getting the help they need, and that’s pretty much it.”
