Suit against hospital dismissed

A lawsuit filed by an Elk Horn man against Taylor Regional Hospital claiming that staff members caused him to have a cardiac episode has been dismissed.

The dismissal comes after a more than two-year legal battle in Taylor Circuit Court.

Greensburg attorney Danny Butler filed the claim in September 2010 on behalf of Weldon Gabehart.

TRH filed its response a month later, denying the allegations.

According to Gabehart’s complaint, he was a patient at TRH on Sept. 28, 2009, at the emergency room.
