Suit against EMS dropped, reinstated days later

A lawsuit filed against the city and EMS service alleging they are responsible for a woman's death has been dismissed. But just days later, an attorney in the case asked that the dismissal be set aside and the claim be kept active.

Lebanon attorney James Avritt Jr. filed a complaint on Thomas Ray Shirrell's behalf in Taylor Circuit Court on Dec. 29, 2011. City of Campbellsville and Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue are listed as defendants.
