Students compete in 4-H Talk Meet

Fifty-four 4-H members presented speeches at the Taylor County 4-H Talk Meet competition on Thursday, Dec. 13 at Taylor County Middle School. Many more participated on a classroom level.

For the competition, 4-H members were grouped in age divisions. A large number of participants came from the 10- and 11-year-old divisions. Both of these age divisions consisted of more than one room of competition. The top two speeches were selected from each room. These individuals advanced to the finals for selection of the overall winner.
