Student wins Bible drill

Taylor County Middle School student Megan Underwood recently became a three-year state winner in the Children's Bible Drill.

She received the honor by winning the church drill at her home church, Salem Baptist Church, on April 15. She then won the Taylor County Baptist Association's drill on April 22.

Underwood competed in the Kentucky Baptist Convention State drill on April 28 at Immanual Baptist Church in Lexington. To be declared a state winner, Underwood had to give 20 or more correct responses of the 24 possible responses.

Underwood is the daughter of Doug and Darrelyn Underwood. She just completed her sixth-grade year at TCMS.
