Student expelled for bringing gun to school

The student who brought a gun to Campbellsville Elementary School has been expelled for at least 10 weeks. And the student who brought knives to school has been suspended.

Campbellsville School Board members met in special session Monday night for a student disciplinary hearing.

The hearing, which was done in closed session, lasted for 34 minutes.

After the hearing, Board Chair Pat Hall called for a motion in regard to the discussion during the hearing.
