Campbellsville's Lady Tigers fiddled away a first-half lead, drew even early in the second half, but could not maintain their momentum, losing to the home-standing St. Catharine’s Lady Patriots 75-61 Saturday afternoon.
Campbellsville built an early 11-4 lead on threes by Courtney Clifton (two) and Mackenzie Lee. But, CU would not hit another three the entire game and shot 27 percent from the field. As a matter of fact, after hitting four of its first six shots, CU went 3-22 the rest of the half. The Lady Tigers hit 16-58 shots from the field.
