A home on Spurlington Road was damaged by fire on Monday night.
According to a Taylor County Fire & Rescue report, personnel were dispatched to 5066 Spurlington Road at 10:12 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the two-story home, which belongs to Thomas Tungate, with heavy smoke showing from both floors.
According to the report, the fire appears to have started in a wall near a breaker box on the first floor and spread through the wall to the room above.
Fire damage was contained to two rooms and the remainder of the house suffered smoke damage.
