A Springfield man has been arrested and charged with committing a theft in Taylor County.
Leroy Harris, 52, was arrested last Thursday in Lebanon on an outstanding Taylor County arrest warrant.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, Harris allegedly stole copper from a Campbellsville business and sold it to a recycling center.
Harris was charged with theft by unlawful taking more than $500 and was lodged at the Taylor County Detention Center on a $30,000 cash bond.
Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy William Rice investigated.
