Social Security policy is a curious one

My name is George Coyle. I am a Vietnam era veteran with two honorable discharges. I was recently diagnosed with throat cancer at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington and will receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments five days a week, also in Lexington.

My wife draws Social Security disability. This is our only income. I found out April 23 that I was also approved for Social Security. We thought this was a godsend, but then we found out the rest of the story.
