Dig out your julep cups and silver trays.

Betty Overly will help silver owners correctly identify their sterling and silver plate objects on Friday, June 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Taylor County Extension Office.

Overly's class will include caring for and protecting silver.

She will also have displays and will discuss the evolution of silver. Coins will not be discussed.

For a $3 registration fee, participants can have a verbal, general, "ballpark" appraisal of an item and have access to Overly's pattern books for researching patterns.

Questions for Overly can be submitted at registration. The deadline to register is Wednesday, June 18 and class size is limited. Call 465-4511 for more information.
