Sheriff statistics

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office released its July activity report recently.

The report includes 28 cases opened, 117 criminal arrests, 17 traffic collisions worked, five injury collisions worked, 112 arrest warrants served, 151 civil papers served, 23 citations issued, three DUI arrests, 493 complaints answered, 87 vehicles inspected, 1,162 hours worked and 6,070 miles driven.
