Seven die on Kentucky roadways

Preliminary statistics indicate that seven people died in six separate crashes on Kentucky's roadways from Monday, Jan. 14, through Sunday, Jan. 20.

A double fatality motor vehicle crash occurred in Logan County. Single fatality motor vehicle crashes occurred in Christian, Clark, Hopkins, Madison and Scott counties.

The victims in Christian, Clark, Logan and Scott counties were not wearing seat belts. The use of alcohol was involved in the Madison County and Scott County crashes.
