Saturday cookout will benefit food pantry

Proceeds from a cookout on Saturday in front of Walmart Supercenter will benefit the Taylor County Food Pantry.

The menu will include smoked pulled pork barbecue tenderloin, hamburgers and hot dogs. The meal will be served at no cost, however, a free will offering will be accepted. Everyone eats regardless of the ability to give.

Canned food items will also be accepted.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
