Tao Sailabada and Ton Chartisathian, both of Bangkok, Thailand, will exchange wedding vows on Sunday, Dec. 23.
The bride is the daughter of Val and Poolsuk Mansfield of Wellington, New Zealand and Bangkok.
She is a 1996 graduate of Bangkok Patana International School and a 2001 graduate of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, where she earned her bachelor's degree in education, graduating with honors. Sailabada received her master's degree in economics, also at Chulalongkorn University, in 2004. She is currently working toward her Ph.D. in education at Assumption University in Bangkok.
Sailabada serves as a lecturer in the Department of Education at Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School.
The groom is the son of Dr. Winit and Karnaporn Chartisathian of Campbellsville.
He is a 1994 graduate of Taylor County High School, where he was valedictorian. He earned his bachelor of science in biology and in natural sciences and mathematics from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va. in 1998.
Chartisathian is a senior consultant in the Strategy & Operations Practice at Deloitte Southeast Asia, where he advises multinational companies on corporate strategy and finance-related issues.
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok. Invitations will be sent.
