Russell to speak at Campbellsville Christian

Bob Russell will be the featured speaker at Campbellsville Christian Church on Sunday, Nov. 8 during the 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services.

Russell led the growth of Southeast Christian Church from 120 to more than 18,000 before retiring after 40 years of ministry in 2006. He has the ability to communicate Bible truth in a direct manner, seasoned with humor.

He was the featured speaker on “The Living Word” radio broadcast for many years and the author of the best selling book, "When God Builds a Church." He is a popular speaker at conferences, revivals and churches. He continues to mentor preachers, conducts elder/minister seminars, and is instrumental in the Londen Institute, a school for individuals wanting to become preachers as a second career.

He and his wife Judy live in Louisville. They have two sons and seven grandchildren.

Russell will preach on “Growing in Grace and Knowledge” to begin a four-day preaching rally. Other speakers will be David Cordrey on Sunday at 6:30 p.m., Lance Ladd on Monday at 7 p.m., Stuart Jones on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and John Parkey on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
