RoBards opens law office in Shelbyville

J.R. RoBards has opened a legal practice in Shelbyville at the Stanley-Casey House, 301 Washington St.

RoBards is a 1995 graduate of Campbellsville High School and is a veteran of the U.S. Marines, where he served on active duty from 1995-1999.

He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business & Economics. He attended the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law, where he received a juris doctor degree in May. He passed the Bar exam in October and was sworn in before the Kentucky Supreme Court on Oct. 25.

He is married to the former Beth Harrell of Shelbyville. He is the son of Richard and Linda RoBards of Campbellsville.
