The crowded meeting room bustles with excitement as Taylor County resident H.G. Coon is presented a Taylor County High School diploma at the Taylor County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night.
With his family watching from the front row, 53-year-old Coon was nearly too overcome with emotion to reply when Taylor County Superintendent Roger Cook said to him, "I want people to look at you and be encouraged."
All board members attended the meeting.
