Resident charged with third DUI

A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with DUI and other charges after he allegedly drove while intoxicated.

David L. Shrout, 46, of 108 Gowdy St., was arrested Sunday, Oct. 21, at 6:12 p.m.

According to Shrout's arrest citation, he was allegedly driving on East Broadway and ran off the roadway.

Campbellsville Police Officer Scotty Perian wrote that Shrout swerved into the east and westbound lanes.

Upon contact with Shrout, Perian wrote in court records, he had red, glassy, blood shot eyes and failed several field sobriety tests.
