Resident charged with stealing computer

Campbellsville Police responded to a report of a theft from Rent-A-Center on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. and arrested a Campbellsville man as a result.

After an investigation, according to a news release, Ben Sallee, 20, was charged with theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

The release states that Sallee allegedly stole an Apple Macbook from the store. He was lodged at the Taylor County Detention Center.

Campbellsville Police Captain Shannon Wilson investigated.
