A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with his second DUI offense.

Patrick L. Greer, 28, of 553 Yarberry Lane, was arrested Sunday, June 16, at 10:54 p.m.

According to Greer's arrest citation, Campbellsville Police Officer Scotty Perian made contact with Greer when he saw him passed out behind the steering wheel of his car with its lights illuminated and keys in the ignition.

Court records state that Greer's pupils were very large, his speech was slurred and he was sweaty.

After being arrested, Perian wrote, Greer was very combative and yelled while at Taylor Regional Hospital for blood and urine tests.

Perian wrote that Greer made several threats against him during the arrest and was uncooperative throughout the arrest.

Greer was charged with DUI, his second offense, disorderly conduct, menacing and third-degree terroristic threatening.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Taylor District Court on Wednesday, June 19, and was ordered to hire his own attorney. Bond was set at $500 cash and he was ordered to not drive or consume drugs or alcohol.

Greer is scheduled to appear in court again Monday, July 1.
