A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with breaking into a storage building on KY 55.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies received a complaint on Monday of a burglary at a storage building on KY 55.
Video surveillance showed two vehicles near the building. According to the report, one of the vehicles was seen leaving the property with items from the storage unit.
After an investigation, one of the vehicles matching the description of the vehicles on the surveillance tape was found near an apartment complex in Campbellsville.
After questioning the owner of the vehicle, an arrest warrant was obtained and Tyler Marples, 31, of 77 Anna Court, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.
While Deputies Dickie Benningfield and Rodney Cox were attempting to serve the arrest warrant, Marples attempted to flee from the scene by jumping out of a second-story window.
Marples was apprehended after a short foot pursuit and lodged at the Taylor County Detention Center.
