Red Cross accepting applications for training

The Lake Cumberland Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is accepting applications for Disaster Shelter Operations Training scheduled for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2 in Russell County.

This training is for anyone who would be interested in volunteering to help open and operate a shelter in the event of an emergency.

The deadline for registration is Friday, Nov. 2. For more information call Connie at (606) 678-4364.
