Cameron Rattliff recently completed merit badges and projects to earn his Eagle Scout ranking.

Rattliff, who lives in Louisville, is the son of Brian and Beth Rattliff of Louisville and the grandson of Jewell and Herman Rattliff of Campbellsville.

Rattliff began scouting at age 6 when he became a Tiger Cub at Walden Pack 118. He steadily progressed through the Cub Scout ranks, earning the Arrow of Light in March 2001. He then joined Troop 30 and became a member of the Fox Patrol where he has remained throughout his scouting career.

In addition to major outings, Troop 30 has provided Rattliff the opportunity for many other adventures, including caving, rafting, biking Missouri's Kady Trail, hiking the Red River Gorge, trips to Space Camp and Canada, and numerous other camping and hiking expeditions.

Rattliff has held various leadership positions during his time in scouting, including den chief, assistant patrol leader, patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader.

Rattliff completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on Nov. 19, 2007. His court of honor was Thursday, Feb. 14.
